Christmas Lights and Snowball Fights
by Beth Rain.
I loved this book. It’s was a great little, unexpected, romance novel and I could not put it down. When Caro gets lost in a snowstorm on the way to her parents’ home for Christmas, she believes its all just part of the crappy year she’s had. However, she discovers an entire community she never knew she needed and discovers that Christmas miracles can happen.
I was immediately captivated by this story. I honestly couldn’t put it down. Caro was such a relatable character and I felt as if I was right there with her discovering the magic of this little, English village. Beth Rain is a great storyteller, and the way she described the characters and lifestyle of this town made me want to live there and be part of that life.
This is a great story, revolving around community, friends, and the family we create from the people around us. Throw in a little Christmas spirit and you have yourself a holiday hit. I cannot say enough great things about this book. I recommended it highly to anyone who loves a good, easy to read story.
